Treasure Find

Ed chanced upon these nuggets on ebay. Judging from the ultra cheap tag he got it for the owner probably didn't know how much of a gem these circa photos and postcards are. For a little over $10 you get a piece of unique history that would hang proudly on any sane enthusiast's wall. If you can't read the sign where those Indians are parked it says Lawton Police Station. Yep. Once upon a time, our police were riding rigid classics. Now they're reduced to colorum and dilapidated tin cans. Can't help but think that somewhere in the metro are these lost and stashed engines just rusting away in a forgotten basement.
