Was feeling timid more than usual. Jason and I did a mini run last night when we visited Cicero at his shop so I didn't think come evening he'd follow up on our regular Friday jaunt. 8PM and an hour later, John, Noel and Ratski checked in for what is to be the 5th run on this experiment. Traffic was a wee bit thicker than the previous runs but the more obstacles the merrier. It was just a matter of picking the route. So after spending a good while attacking some Kowloon siopaos and no dice figuring out how to safely bolt the video cam to my helmet we pushed off.
This grill joint in the heart of Quezon City is getting to be a NOS favorite. Simply the best food there is. Beats Jollibee hands down any time. Plus QC is a great segway to one of the best "unrealized" drag strips in town.
As in every case, the Bullet Run is all about speed and having a simple good time. Even rests in between blasts can prove to be quite extraordinary. In our case the nice locals joined in to extend some warm hospitality.
8PM meet up, Makati, Manila, Roxas blvd, Quiapo, Espana, Quezon City, Greenhills, EDSA, Ermita, Makati. Stops in between - where ever. 4AM sign off.
