Tropical storm Emong visits the Philippines.
For us in the metro, its just another rainy day. But for most of our brothers up north, its time to brace themselves one more time. Loss of either life or property is common in instances like this. I'm thankful I only get to hear or read of it. I've been monitoring this blip two days ago and this is the largest that it has built up so far.
This puts the convention ride up to Baguio tomorrow at risk. Not to mention a few other programs that are on our list, namely Autonight tomorrow evening. I assume it will seriously cut down attendees that have already confirmed to join the long ride that many believe to number 20,000 strong or more. For most underbones and sub-400s anticipating the opportunity to ride through NLEX, this is a disappointment. Still, you can't argue with the Hand that rocks the cradle.
To those going, Godspeed on your journey. Have a safe trip to and back.
