Japan :: March 3, 2011
We watch from the safety of our homes what the people of Japan had to go through. Makes one think who really is in control. In an instant, your three meal a day is reduced to half a potato chip a day.

Fetching Jesse
Pardon the cam smog. I didn't bother checking the lens even if I knew it was raining.

Cam

Testing Jason's skull cam. Rainy on some parts, dry on others, and a constantly wet and sandy back. The cam is excellent. Though I should have wiped the lens first. The quality is near HD, very crisp. Fetched Jesse who rode into Manila for tonight's DutdutanX event. Another great excuse to split some lanes. Will post the vid soon as I edit.

One More Surfin' Round
Yep, before goin' home at 1AM the other night I headed on straight to St. Peter's strip along MOA and attempted this - yes no witnesses - just in case I take a spill and make someone else's day, or night.. anyway, it was a rush that first time (kinda like doing it in the office after hours..) decided not to tempt fate and headed straight on home. Wipe the tank off and you're done. A good 5 seconds of hands-free-once-in-a-while kinda fun.
Worth A Second Look
Keepers of the real way. The SoCal Sinners from the Choppertown documentary.
This is a vid to treasure.

Reminder
I have a very bad tendency to forget. Sometimes I get lost in the zen of my hand on the throttle that I get careless. This doesn't mean I get into anything, but I can probably count several close calls that would've ended in a nasty spill. Cabs, jeeps, trucks and buses for instance. I keep myself in check by following a strange ritual of watching these. Speeding on two wheels is risky - fatal risky. There is only a tiny bit of margin allowed for error. In some cases in the video, it's when you don't expect something to happen that something DOES happen. Be thankful you're watching this instead of people watching you IN this.

No Future Krew
Who says skinny bars handle heavy?
Skinny bars rule! Period.
